JOCH JZJ2B Series Roots Water (Liquid) Ring Vacuum Unit

The JZJ2B series Roots-water ring vacuum unit is a pumping system composed of ZJ-type Roots pumps as the main pump, with 2BV/2BE1 series liquid ring pumps or Roots-liquid ring units as the fore pumps. In addition to pumping common gases, it can also handle gases containing moisture, organic solvents, or a small amount of dust. Compared with ordinary mechanical vacuum pumps, it is immune to oil contamination, moisture and fine dust. Compared with standard liquid ring vacuum pumps, it features higher ultimate vacuum and greater pumping speed under high-vacuum conditions.
Equipped with the high-efficiency and energy-saving 2BV series liquid ring pump as the fore pump, the JZJ2B series offers advantages over the JZJ2S series, including higher efficiency, compact structure, easy maintenance, zero leakage (the 2BV pump uses mechanical seals, unlike the gland packing seals of the 2SK series), corrosion resistance (2BV adopts stainless steel impellers) and higher protection grade. The Roots vacuum pump uses our self-developed ZJ series Roots pump. With improved sealing between the pump chamber and bearing housing, the modified ZJ series Roots pump prevents oil emulsification when pumping large amounts of water vapor and various solvents.
The working fluid of the fore pump in the Roots-liquid ring unit is usually water, but organic solvents (such as methanol, ethanol, xylene, acetone, etc.) or other liquids can also be used. When the fore pump is operated in a closed-loop system, environmental pollution is greatly reduced, and the recovery rate of organic solvents is significantly improved. Its ultimate vacuum is determined by the saturated vapor pressure of the working fluid.
