JOCH Dry Screw Vacuum Pump

Dry screw vacuum pumps form a high vacuum by the meshing action of a pair of screws rotating in opposite directions at a constant speed inside the pump chamber, completing the whole process of gas suction, compression and discharge. Two non-contact screw rotors with opposite rotation directions rotate synchronously and reversely in the pump chamber. As the screws rotate, a fixed volume of gas is drawn in from the pump inlet, compressed and delivered to the discharge port, then exhausted out of the pump.
There is no contact between the two screws, nor between the screws and the pump chamber, so no lubricating oil is required inside the pump cavity. The lubricating oil for gears and shaft seals is isolated from the pump chamber by reliable sealing. The pump can be cooled directly by circulating cooling water or by a cooling device equipped with a fan and radiator.
Adopting a specially designed screw rotor profile, the dry screw vacuum pump reduces power consumption by about 30% and lowers the exhaust temperature by around 10°C compared with conventional screw pumps. It features greatly improved operational reliability and stability, meeting vacuum requirements under various working conditions.
It is widely used in chemical and pharmaceutical processes such as solvent recovery, vacuum drying, concentration, crystallization and distillation; vacuum extrusion molding in rubber and plastic industries; vacuum degassing in metallurgy; as well as vacuum degassing and drying in solar energy, microelectronics, lithium battery and other industries.

  6. The rotor undergoes high-speed dynamic balance treatment; flange-connected motor ensures high concentricity, low vibration and low noise.
  7. Wetted parts are coated with Hastelloy anti-corrosion coating, which prevents condensate accumulation inside the pump chamber and enhances corrosion resistance.
  8. Compared with oil-sealed pumps and liquid ring vacuum pumps, it produces no waste gas, waste liquid or waste oil discharge, realizing energy-saving, environmentally friendly operation.
