JOCH 2BV Series Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps and Compressors

The 2BV series liquid ring vacuum pumps are suitable for pumping gases and water vapor, with a suction pressure down to 33 mbar absolute (97% vacuum). When the pump operates continuously at a suction pressure close to its ultimate vacuum (i.e., the saturated vapor pressure of the working fluid), a cavitation protection pipe must be connected to protect the pump. When used as a compressor, it can achieve a maximum discharge pressure of 0.26 MPa absolute.

As a new generation of energy-efficient products, the 2BV series will comprehensively replace SK/2SK series liquid ring vacuum pumps and W/WY/WL series reciprocating vacuum pumps of equivalent performance, thanks to its excellent performance and numerous advantages.

The 2BV2-Ex and 2BV6 series liquid ring vacuum pumps/compressors are primarily designed for pumping explosive gases and operating in various flammable and explosive environments. Their performance parameters are identical to those of the 2BV2 and 2BV5 series.

◆ Direct-coupled motor design saves space, featuring easy installation and convenient maintenance.

◆ Imported mechanical seals are adopted as the standard configuration for all models.

◆ Equipped with a cavitation protection pipe connection. When operating under ultimate pressure, connecting the cavitation protection pipe (or linking to a separator) can eliminate cavitation noise while maximizing suction performance and providing effective pump protection.

◆ The entire 2BV series is standard-fitted with stainless steel impellers; the 2BV2 series is fully equipped with stainless steel discs and impellers. High structural strength and long service life, with enhanced corrosion resistance. Custom full-stainless steel wetted parts are available for operation in harsh working conditions.

◆ Adopted with a unique flexible exhaust port design to avoid over-compression, ensuring optimal working efficiency of the 2BV series within the full performance range.

◆ Fitted with Y2 series motors in all units. Protection class: IP54 / IP55 (standard: IP44); Insulation class: Class F (standard: Class B).

◆ High-grade imported bearings from NTN or NSK are used throughout.

◆ For the 2BV series liquid ring vacuum pumps, all flexible seals can be made of PTFE, greatly extending the service life under severe and demanding working conditions.
